Mount Difficult Poll Hereford Stud hold a Gold Standard status with Breedplan and supply high quality bulls to stud and commercial breeders, nation-wide.

Established in 1985 and based in Victoria’s southern Wimmera at the foot of the northern Grampians, national demand for bulls  calls for sales via private treaty.

Bulls are listed annually on the Hereford Animal Listing (HAL) website, when they are about 20 months old. We welcome visitors and these bulls can be inspected at any time.

We aim for balanced EBV’s rather than selecting for any particular trait but we monitor birthweight and calving ease very closely and you will have no difficulty in finding a heifer bull.

Our bulls have made significant contributions to the breed including Fellis Y12, Ungar, Unsworth, Wayne and Cadbury.

AI bulls used in recent years include Wirruna Querido, Wirruna Quambone, Injemira Kickstart and Injemira Robert Redford.
