At Yavenvale on the 17th February a son of Wirruna Matty was sold for $28,000, the second highest price of the sale.
Two sons of Mount Difficult Centennial were offered and sold for $12,000 and $9,500. We now have sons and daughters of this bull on the ground.
At Wirruna on the 10th March Wirruna Phil P273 sold for $70,000, a record for the stud. His dam was sired by Mount Difficult Cadbury who also sired the dams of P041 [sold for $25,000] and Q087 [sold for $18,000]. Cadbury’s son Wirruna Midnight was used at Mount Difficult in 2020 and now has calves on the ground.
Wirruna Matty had 6 sons in the sale which sold for up to $18,000 and averaged $15,000. Wirruna Mclaren had 2 sons which sold for $18,000 and $12,000. Mount Difficult has sons of both sires for sale.
Wirruna Quaran Q075 who fetched $17,000 is a son of Mount Difficult Janette H53.
